On 10th May 2010 Marton Road Pharmacy launched a new on-line and by phone prescription collection and delivery service for patients in Bridlington and surrounding areas.

Patients can now sign up for a new, easy and convenient on-line repeat prescription service; Marton Road Pharmacy orders and collects prescriptions from all local GPs and delivers medicines for FREE in postcodes in and around Bridlington

The service provides great benefits for elderly, immobile or busy patients who are unable to easily get to their GP or local pharmacy. "This service will help to improve patient care by helping to ensure patients can order their repeat prescriptions easily and obtain their medication on time" said Pharmacy Superintendent Pharmacist, Ian Woolley. "Patients can come to our website, www.bridlingtonpharmacy.co.uk, create an account, enter all their regular prescriptions and set up customised email reminders. We have also provided a 'health wallet' where patients can securely store their health details which they can choose to share with us so we can provide better care and patients can receive targeted advice."
